Funniest Animal Stories Terms and Conditions

1. Promoter
The promoter of this competition is Pharmaceutical Compounding NZ Limited, trading as CompoundLabs (“CompoundLabs”, “we”, “our”, “us”).

2. Competition Period

  • The competition is ongoing and runs until withdrawn by CompoundLabs.
  • The competition is divided into two‑month entry periods (“Entry Periods”).
  • At the end of each Entry Period, one winner will be selected from all eligible entries received during that period.
  • CompoundLabs may change, pause, or end the competition or any Entry Period at any time.

3. Eligibility

  • Entry is open only to veterinary clinics located in New Zealand.
  • Entries must be submitted by a staff member acting on behalf of their clinic.
  • Clinics may submit multiple stories, but a clinic may only win once within any six‑month period.
  • Employees of Pharmaceutical Compounding NZ Limited and their immediate families are not eligible to win.
  • Entrants must be 18 years or older, or have permission from their clinic manager.

4. How to Enter

  • Clinics may submit their funny animal stories, images, or videos via the submission form at: compoundlabs.co.nz/pages/funnyanimalstories.
  • By submitting, entrants confirm the story is true to the best of their knowledge and does not breach client confidentiality.
  • Entrants must ensure no confidential client information is disclosed.
  • Entrants confirm they have obtained any necessary owner consent for sharing images or videos of animals.
  • Submissions must not contain offensive, harmful, or inappropriate content. CompoundLabs may decline or remove any submission at its discretion.

5. Judging

  • One winner will be selected every two months, at the end of each Entry Period.
  • Winners are chosen by the CompoundLabs team based on humour, originality, and entertainment value.
  • Judging decisions are final and no correspondence will be entered into.

6. Prize

  • The winning clinic will receive a CompoundLabs‑branded lolly jar, which CompoundLabs will refill for six months.
  • Prizes are not transferable or redeemable for cash.
  • A clinic that wins becomes ineligible to win again for the following six months.
  • CompoundLabs may change the prize, prize structure, or prize terms at any time, including the type of prize awarded in each two‑month cycle. Any changes will apply to future Entry Periods and will not affect prizes already awarded.

7. Rights to Submitted Content (Licence & Permissions)

By submitting a story, image, or video, the entrant grants Pharmaceutical Compounding NZ Limited (trading as CompoundLabs) a non‑exclusive, royalty‑free, worldwide, perpetual licence to:

  • publish, display, reproduce, modify, adapt, and share the content
  • use the content on the CompoundLabs website, social media, marketing materials, and promotional campaigns
  • use the clinic’s name for the purpose of acknowledging the submission or announcing winners

Entrants confirm that:

  • they have the rights and permissions necessary to submit the content
  • any identifiable individuals or animals have been shared in compliance with clinic policies and owner consent requirements
  • the submission does not infringe any third‑party rights

CompoundLabs may edit submissions for clarity, length, or formatting without altering the meaning.

8. Privacy

  • Contact details provided will be used for administering the competition and contacting winners.
  • Entrants may optionally choose to opt in to receive marketing communications from CompoundLabs at the time of submission.
  • If an entrant opts in, their information will also be used for sending marketing updates, product information, and promotional content.
  • Personal information will be handled in accordance with the CompoundLabs Privacy Policy.

9. Disqualification

CompoundLabs may disqualify any entry that:

  • breaches these Terms & Conditions
  • contains inappropriate, harmful, or offensive content
  • infringes on third‑party rights
  • attempts to manipulate or interfere with the competition

10. Liability

  • To the maximum extent permitted by New Zealand law, CompoundLabs is not liable for any loss, damage, or injury arising from participation in the competition or acceptance of the prize.
  • CompoundLabs is not responsible for technical issues, website outages, or submission errors.

11. Changes to the Competition

CompoundLabs reserves the right to modify, suspend, or cancel the competition, any Entry Period, or any prize at any time.

12. Acceptance of Terms

Submitting an entry constitutes acceptance of these Terms & Conditions.
