What is PEA

PEA is a natural fatty acid amide with neuroprotective support properties and is produced by your body in response to trauma.

Scientific studies have shown that under trauma normal levels of PEA may require support to meet the body’s requirements. Therefore, supplementation may be supportive.

PEA 400

PEA(Palmitoylethanolamide) is a natural substance produced by the body and is also found in foods such as meat, eggs, peanuts and soybeans.

PEA has natural properties that may support normal muscle and nerve function for normal day to day activities.

It can be taken alongside most supplements with no known interactions or side effects.

Direction for use

A dosage of 1200mg daily is recommended and is best taken in divided doses of 400mg three times a day with a fat containing meal.

Safety during pregnancy and breastfeeding has not been established.

For individuals who suffer from kidney or liver conditions, it is generally advised to start with a lower dose of 400mg of PEA 400 daily and increase slowly. No known interactions with PEA have been reported to date.
